Peter graduated in Law from Southampton University in 1978 and subsequently trained to be a solicitor in Northamptonshire until he qualified in 1981 before relocating to Romsey to be near the south coast in late 1981 when he joined the firm of Footner, Taylor & Lawrence as an assistant solicitor dealing with Wills and Probate together with residential conveyancing and progressed into the world of commercial conveyancing in addition before being made Partner in 1984.
The firm as it was known throughout the profession changed its name to Footners in 1986 and Peter remained Partner there dealing mainly with Wills and Probate, residential and commercial conveyancing until 2016 when he retired from the Partnership but remained with the firm specialising in Wills, Trusts, Probate and Powers of Attorney.
