Having read Law at Leicester University in the 1970’s, Tony trained at the College of Law in Guildford before undertaking his training contract (Articles of Clerkship) at the Southampton office of a London Law Firm. Subsequently he became a partner in that Firm and was involved in the hiving off of the Southampton offices of his Firm, negotiating a series of successful mergers resulting in the present Firm of Footner & Ewing.
Tony has now stepped down from the role of senior partner but remains actively involved in the management and administration of the Practice.
