Karen has been working in all aspects of conveyancing since 1986, and then qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive Lawyer.
Karen joined Footner & Ewing in 2015 and heads up the Conveyancing Team at the Totton office.
Karen’s clients value her ability to mix technical knowledge with a practical approach and to explain the often complex matters affecting their transactions in simple, understandable terms. Whether it be an investor, buyer or a client buying their first home, Karen prides herself on being able to tailor the clients experience to their particular needs.
In the last few years Karen has focused on higher value estates and on clients buying for investment purposes together with more technical cases in terms of complex titles. She has also worked with most major shared ownership providers providing a wide spread of experience in all aspects of conveyancing transactions.
Karen has specialised previously in both matrimonial and probate conveyancing and in the implications of joint ownership arrangements, and preparing Declarations of Trust when required.

Karen is married with one daughter. She is a trampolining coach and a qualified judge. She enjoys cruising and exploring different countries and cultures, and also likes sitting down reading a good book.
